Ok, so here is my little list of things that make me happy:
1- My boys
2-My dogs ( and dogs in general)
3-Birds singing
4-Spending time at my cabin in the mountains
5-Spending time creating in my studio
6-A good bottle of wine

You know when you do this it just goes to show that it really is the simple things in life that make you the happiest. :-)

Now on to other things. We have been really busy at work the last few weeks and then been doing yard work when home. Haven't had much time for art or blogging so I thought I'd better check. My friend Kim always lets me know when I haven't blogged in awhile.

So I thought I'd show a few pictures of my flowers that have bloomed. First off. I have these beautiful Irises that are so dark purple they are almost black. I just love them and wished they lasted all Summer.

Here are a few pots that are starting to take off and a little statue

A different Iris, not so dark purple but still pretty.

One of the first of the wild roses to bloom, soon the whole bush will be full of blooms.

There's Arlo trying to get me to pick him up.

And lastly, here's Hubby enjoying the lovely day with the lap dogs .

First Signs of Spring

Yay! The first flowers of Spring have begun to bloom. Here are some of the Daffodils in front of the office were I work (sometimes) my day job. This area faces south so it's very warm and the flowers bloom pretty early if we've had mild weather like we have this year. Not very impressive, but it's a start. The Hyacinths are ready to burst soon too, probably in another day or so. It's a beautiful day here and I want to play hooky and go for a walk in the park.

Ah well, better get back to work........
