Update Time Friday the 13th

Well Halloween is over for another year. I still have my indoor decorations up though. I don't take them down til Thanksgiving or shortly before. Now it's time to focus more on Christmas art. This Friday the 13th is the monthly update for Spookytime Jingles! Yay!!

It's Beginning To Look Alot Like.......

Halloween?

This is what it looks like in our backyard this morning.

Yep, Mother Nature did it to us again here in Colorado.
We got a Halloween Blizzard.
Two days of pretty much non-stop snow. The good news is that it will melt pretty quickly and hopefully by tomorrow night the little ghouls and goblins won't have to wade thru too much snow to get their treats.
And speaking of Halloween, I wanted to show a redo of the fireplace mantel decor. I did some rearranging to add some new goodies I got this year.

I got black feather tree and hung skulls on it, I think it needs a few more.

I also have two new artist additions, The little Pumpkin Painting from Lisa hanging in front on the spider web. And just above and to the left a Spooky Theater from Dani. I just love them!!

And here is Mr Silver in his party hat that I won from the Wandering Witch contest on the EHAG Blog. It was made by Cathy and fits fits him perfectly!

Unfortunately that's all the Halloween I put out this year.

In other news I wanted to pass along a warning I received this morning from Jonty about a virus going around from an email supposedly from Face book. Please check out his post that will tell you all about it.

And with that I am off on my broom to fly thru the snow! Bwa Ha Ha!

More Halloween

Happy Thursday all, been busy with some custom orders. I made these little Spider Treat Boxes for a customer who will be giving them out as favors at her Halloween Party.

They were really fun to make. I'm trying to get a few more done to put in my shop before it's too late for Halloween.

I should have more treats to share soon.

Back From Somewhere.....

Hey all,
I'm back from where ever I have been lately. Can't believe I haven't posted in a month. So sorry.
I've been in rather a funk lately. I don't know how to describe it other than I have been super busy , but yet at the same time doing nothing at all ( or so it seems). Does that ever happen to you? When you get the feeling that time has passed you by and you don't know what you've been doing during it? It's kind of a blur? What is that?

Actually I think Perimenopause is to blame.
I have pretty much been having all of the above symptoms ( Plus a few more fun ones)
Ain't it grand being a woman?
And a middle aged woman to-boot!
This one here just about says it all.
Except they forgot the super duper heavy maxi tidal wave flow pads!



Yea, I've kind of felt like this too.

Oh well... Life goes on.
And ya gotta have a sense of humor about it too!

In other news, I just finished my tags for the Vintage Halloween Tag Swap hosted by Sarah of Gypsy Mermaid. Here's how they turned out.

We had to make 13 tags and send them to Sarah, where she will put 13 books together and ship back to each one of us. I'm so excited to see what everyone made!

Well that's it for now. I'm off to sit in front of a fan and get to work on some new stuff.

Exciting News

Top of the Monday morning to you,

Wow, I can't believe it's February 2nd already. However, the groundhog saw his shadow this morning so 6 more weeks of Winter. It has been a doozy this year for a lot of the country.

So now for the exciting news.......I have been accepted to the Spookytime Jingles Website!!!!!!

Happy Late Halloween

Yea I know I'm late. (Story of my life). Any way it's never really too late for Halloween is it? I mean some artists and collectors do Halloween all year long. Besides I still have my decorations up so I thought I would share them just in case you didn't get enough yet. Some I made and others are from other Artists and things I bought.

This is the display above the fireplace. Sorry the pictures are so dark, there is not much natural light in this room.

And this one got a witch hat.

I usually leave Halloween up til Thanksgiving and then start putting up Christmas right after.
